According to spokesman of Kano State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident to Daily Post.
Information reaching the police head quarter on 01/08/2022 at noon, Received a phone call from the village Head of Garin Dauru town in Warawa local Government that a girl hanged herself in her room.
The investigation report, a team of policemen was mobilized to the scene and they discovered that the girl used her wrapper and wooden mortar to hang herself.
He confirmed that the girl was rushed to the general hospital and medical attention was admitted to her before the doctor concluded she is dead.

Her father Malam Usman denied that, her daughter didn't die because of force marriage.
