Over 30,000 Youths in nasarawa state has been considered for employment by dangote sugar refinery to reduce the importation of sugar into the country by 40% to pave way for employment.
The CEO of Dangote team, Aliko Dangote himself revealed, recently in a chat with newsmen that it was embarking on a new phase 2 of its sugar Project which will then cover over 100,000ha and make the sugar plant the largest in the whole Africa.
The CEO Aliko Dangote also assured people of nasarawa state that, the integrated sugar complex will be located in Tunga local government and Awe local government area in nasarawa state comprises of 60,000ha sugar plantation and sugar factory to be constructed with a capacity to produce 430,000 tonnes per annum of white sugar.
